From 18 to 21 November 2025, the executive team of Tbilisi Free Zone (TFZ) completed a high-level business visit to the United Arab Emirates.
During the visit, a series of bilateral meetings were held with the top management of various leading free economic zones across the UAE. The Georgian delegation also had the opportunity to tour advanced free-zone infrastructures and review best-practice operational models.
The discussions focused on the operational specifics of free zones, prospects for future cooperation, platforms for sharing experience, and opportunities for integration of successful operational models within Georgia.
A key part of the meetings centered around Georgia’s investment environment and the competitive advantages available for investors within TFZ. The parties also highlighted the growing dynamics of partnership between the UAE and Georgia, exemplified by the launch of a multibillion-dollar development project initiated in Georgia by Emaar.
The parties agreed to expand cooperation through close coordination and the initiation of joint strategic projects
The TFZ delegation was represented by Managing Partner Ioseb Nibladze, Technical & Operations Director Georgia Gogia, and Commercial Director Giorgi Rogava.
The Georgian side extended an official invitation to the leadership of the UAE’s free zones to visit Georgia, and explore new partnership opportunities aimed at deepening long-term economic cooperation.
