Tbilisi Free Zone Meets with Uzbek Companies at the Georgian–Uzbek Business Forum

On July 1, 2026, Ioseb (Soso) Nibladze, Managing Partner of Tbilisi Free Zone (TFZ), participated in the Georgian–Uzbek Business Council working meeting organized by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Georgia and Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, the Georgian–Uzbek Business Forum brought together representatives of the business communities of both countries. As part of the forum, the management of Tbilisi Free Zone held B2B meetings with Uzbek companies interested in Georgia’s investment environment and the business opportunities offered by TFZ.

The discussions focused on the investment and operational potential of Tbilisi Free Zone as a regional business platform, enabling Uzbek companies to establish manufacturing, trading, and logistics hubs in Georgia.

TFZ presented its modern infrastructure, tax advantages, and flexible operational environment, allowing international companies to process raw materials or semi-finished products in Georgia, create added value, and export finished products to the European Union, regional markets, and other international destinations.

Strong interest was expressed in sectors including FMCG, pharmaceuticals, textiles, international trade, distribution, and logistics.

The forum marked another important step toward strengthening economic cooperation between Georgia and Uzbekistan while expanding the international partnership network of Tbilisi Free Zone.
